Water for Elephants Movie
Director Francis Lawrence is on working Water for Elephants, a movie adaptation of the novel of the same name by Sara Gruen. Robert Pattinson got the lead role as the veterinary student Jacob Jankowski. Besides Robert Pattinson the cast of Water for Elephants also includes Christoph Waltz and Reese Witherspoon. Filming started in May 2010, so we may expect the film to be released in 2011.

Plot:
"When Jacob Jankowski (Robert Pattinson), recently orphaned and suddenly adrift, jumps onto a passing train, he enters a world of freaks, drifters, and misfits, a second-rate circus struggling to survive during the Great Depression, making one-night stands in town after endless town. A veterinary student who almost earned his degree, Jacob is put in charge of caring for the circus menagerie. It is there that he meets Marlena (Reese Witherspoon), the beautiful young star of the equestrian act, who is married to August (Christoph Waltz), the charismatic but twisted animal trainer. He also meets Rosie, an elephant who seems untrainable until he discovers a way to reach her. Water for Elephants is illuminated by a wonderful sense of time and place. It tells a story of a love between two people that overcomes incredible odds in a world in which even love is a luxury that few can afford."
Robert Pattinson may have risen to worldwide fame thanks to the Twilight movie franchise. But he doesn't rest on his laurels and is eager to play demanding roles. I wouldn't be surprised to see Robert Pattinson winning an Oscar for his role in the movie Water for Elephants. I'm confident that's it going to be a great movie and that it we be worth watching especially for Robert Pattinson's performance.
